I remember the Hitler parodies began with Hitler reacting to any kind of popular culture or news event but then the type we follow evolved at some point, when I mean this I mean with the characters developing roles, personalities and running gags & and memes such as "FEGELEIN" and such. Interestingly enough, the Hitler Parodies universe is divided in two, there being the "original" ones with Hitler purely ranting about events/news created by anyone with no running gags or continuity, with people usually only watching these ones due to the association of the topic rather than the videos in and of themselves. But then there are the "cult following" style ones which we make and are part of, in essence the HRP universe. There are many fans of the original style parodies out there, we need to incorporate them into our new fandom! Huckleberrypie and SnipSnapParodies 2 Quote

It's a nice return to the roots, not to mention relatively easy to make! Huckleberrypie 1 Quote

An overwhelming majority use the four-minute rant scene, but some appear to be showing signs of Untergangerism, like in GewSaints' videos where she had Hitler rant with using scenes other than the OBS. She doesn't seem to be aware of some of the conventions like character personalities, etc. though. Quote

Indeed, there's the more "popular culture" rant scenes and then there's the meme/cult following universe. Perhaps we should introduce OBS to Untergangerism Quote
