Nominations for the Unterganger Awards, Unterganger of the Month, Parody of the Month - March 2016

 

Nominate your own (or someone else's) parody/parodies for the Unterganger Awards.

 

In order to nominate your own parody, you must also nominate at least ONE by someone else.
Also note that the parody/parodies must be uploaded during March 2016.

 

Example:
"I nominate my own parody X for Best Series, and [username]'s parody Y for Best FX." Include a link to the parody/parodies!

 

You may nominate parodies within the categories below:

 

Best FX Parody
Best Current Events Parody (Which now also includes Best Seasonal)
Best Series (Which now also includes Best Superweapon)
Best Story-Based Parody
Best Video Game Parody
Best Audio-Based Parody (Parodies based on sound, like "Hitler is trapped in a box" and similar. For music parodies, see DPMV below).
Best DPMV (Music Parody)
Most Innovative Parody
Most Humorous Parody
Best use of a rare scene
Best parody by a newcomer ("newcomer" here means a person who has been making parodies for less than 6 months)

 

You may nominate three parodies for each category, once the nominations for that category have been made then it's final (no switching). You can nominate your own parody to begin with, if you wish, then nominate somebody else's later on - it does not need to be done at the same time. Just make sure to nominate it before deadline, otherwise your own parody will not count as a nomination. Also make sure to check the date of the parodies you nominate. If you nominate an invalid parody by someone else, your own parody won't count either. Vote by submitting your nomination/s in a comment below. Deadline is on the last day of the month. If the same parody is nominated at least 3 times in the came category, it gets an extra vote in the judging process (that is if it's been nominated by 3 people other than the person who made it).

 

Unterganger of the Month
Nominate up to three Untergangers for Unterganger of the Month (but not yourself). An Unterganger can be nominated for a number of reasons (extra good parodies during March for example, maybe he/she did something special for the community, and so on). All Untergangers who has a parody nominated in the UA, are automatically also candidates for UotM. Once the nominations have been made then it's final (no switching). EXCEPTION: If you self-nominated your own parody, you're not a candidate for UotM. You are still a candidate if somebody else nominated you or one of your parodies.

 

Parody of the Month
Nominate up to three parodies for Parody of the Month. One of the nominations can be your own video, but in order to nominate one of your own, you must also nominate at least one by someone else in some other category in the UA. However: ALL nominated parodies for the UA are automatically nominated for PotM as well. In order to win PotM, the parody must be uploaded during March 2016 - OR on the last day of February 2016 (Note: this only counts for Parody of the Month nominations).

Note: Since December 2014, judges are allowed to nominate parodies (and Untergangers for UotM, but not for PotM), if there is a need (for example if a category doesn't receieve any nominations, or if there is just one nomination in a category). Also note that judges too can nominate a parody of their own. However, If a judge's own parody is self-nominated; a 7th judge must be called in to vote in that category, to ensure justice. Judges can not nominate in categories where there are more than one nomination, or if another judge nominated a parody in the same category. Also note, that judges can only nominate parodies on the day after deadline, and only during one day.

 

Starting from August 2015, I will also take the liberty to move nominated parodies from one category to another if I consider it more suitable for it. For example, a parody nominated for "Best Story-Based" may be better suited for "Best Series". Note I will only do this if I consider it necessary or important. I will not start moving parodies around "just because".
